Dr. Dwarakanath has spent nearly five decades at the intersection of science, clinical application and institutional research. As a scientist and faculty member at NIMHANS, INMAS (DRDO), Sri Ramachandra University, and the Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Centre, he has consistently pursued research that does not stay theoretical. His pioneering work in mechanism-based approaches to radiation countermeasures and the development of 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) as an adjuvant to radiotherapy and chemotherapy of cancer is well acclaimed  across institutions worldwide.

At IICC, Dr. Dwarakanath brings that same orientation: research that is rigorous in method and purposeful in outcome. He is also a Visiting Professor at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. He has served and continues to serve  on the editorial boards of international journals of repute, all while remaining an active academic reviewer for more than 100 scholarly journals in biomedical sciences. He has published over 300 original research articles, reviews, monographs and book chapters with more than 25,000 citations and h-Index value of 50.

More than 23 years across industry, startups, academic research and product development. Dr. N. S. Venkatesh works across the full journey from a laboratory idea to a market-ready product.

His experience includes ideation, Proof of Concept development, prototype design, product development, testing, validation, regulatory processes, manufacturing scale-up and market development.

His specialisation includes assay-reagent technology and biosensor technology. He has worked across research laboratories and manufacturing operations, with responsibilities spanning project management, quality systems and intellectual property.

At IICC, he helps structure projects so that scientific work can move through the stages required for product development, production and commercialisation.

Prof. Afzal Basha is an accomplished academician, researcher, motivational speaker, and corporate professional with over 14 years of industry experience and 8 years in academia. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at IA School of Management Studies, Bengaluru, specializing in Marketing, Human Resources, and Information Technology. He has published 16 research papers in reputed national and international journals and authored two books, International Business Development and Consumer Behaviour in the Digital World. His research interests include Digital Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Retailing, and Artificial Intelligence in Business.

Prior to academia, he worked with leading organizations such as Trent Limited, Landmark Group, EY, and Flipkart, bringing valuable industry insights into his teaching. He is also a motivational speaker who has delivered guest lectures, workshops, and career guidance sessions, and has served as a judge for management events and a quiz master for academic competitions. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Retailing and Artificial Intelligence from Bharathidasan University. He has received several recognitions including the Four Extra Miler Award from EY, Best BOE Winner Award and SMEP Winner Award from Landmark Group, and a Certificate of Recognition from Flipkart. Through his passion for teaching, research, and mentoring, Prof. Afzal Basha continues to inspire and develop future business leaders.

Dr. Jeelan Basha

Associate Professor and Member, IICC

Qualifications :

PhD Organic Chemistry

Dr.Jeelan Basha, Associate Professor, Indian Academy Degree College, Bengaluru, India, is currently involved in the design and synthesis of heterocycles as inhibitors of MDM-2. Also, to study molecular mechanisms of tumor suppressor protein p53 in cancer and inflammatory diseases. To date, he has published 40 with h- index 20 research articles. Reviewed more than 100 international research articles.
